Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, who was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is Ireland's richest and most well-known comedian. She has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her stand-up career in 2011, after appearing in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British series from 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin to regularly appear on sketch and sitcoms. The actress began to appear regularly in panel shows following her win of an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents include Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012, she became the only woman to win the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea was given to her to honor her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian died at the age of three. He was a horse veterinary. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death away until she turned 13. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father and wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea's mom Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for raising her and Sinead. The family was passionate about horses and races. When she was a child, Bea employed as an instructor in the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early stage that she was not keen on the sport of racing as a career and instead enjoyed performing.
